Making people happy. How do you do it? It’s never really easy, is it, to understand the mechanics of doing things in a way that actually resonate meaningfully, if you don’t know what a person likes, or wants, or cares about. Surely it takes time to get to know someone enough to be able to offer the kinds of small, thoughtful gifts that say, ‘I care.’
For a lark, I googled, ‘How to make someone happy.’ I’m just curious. It’s actually not that complicated, according to WikiHow.
I liked this part:
To truly listen to your friend, turn your body toward him, make eye contact, and don’t give unsolicited advice. Make your friend see that you’re fully focused and are there to help make your friend’s life better, not to pass judgment.
See what you think.
